What does the minimum payout mean on a listing?

On network and program listings you will see a section labelled “Minimum Payout”. This is the minimum an Affiliate must earn in commission before they will receive payment.

Screenshot above shows Markdown Media with the Minimum Payout section highlighted with an arrow.

For example it may say the Minimum Payout for the network is $50. An Affiliate must earn this in total commission before they will be paid by the network. The network or program may also list more specific information for example the Minimum Payout is $50 for PayPal but if you chose to be paid by Wire then the Minimum Payout is higher at $250, for example.
