How do I know my data is safe and secure?
The Affiliate Stats app is unique compared to other affiliate stat aggregators, in the fact that we don’t have access to your API credentials – ever!
This has been part of our design philosophy since we first started building the app.
As an affiliate marketer, keeping your API credentials and data private is essential, both for your security and your privacy.
That’s why all your API keys are stored in Apple’s secure Keychain on your device. They are only sent out when making API requests to the relevant networks and programs to authenticate your requests. They don’t get sent to our servers ever.
However some account connections may send your affiliate reporting data to our server to normalize the data for the Affiliate Stats app. Connections that do this will be clearly labelled so you can choose if to use these or not.
If you use a connection that sends data to our server, we retain it for up to 14 days to process your request and assist with debugging or support. After this period, the data is deleted from active systems, but may remain in backups for up to 60 days before being fully purged.
