Do I have to share my passwords or API Keys with Affiliate Stats?

You never need to give the Affiliate Stats app your passwords for your accounts but you do need to share your API keys with the app.

The good news is we design Affiliate Stats with a focus on security. We never get access to your API keys for any of your accounts these are stored locally and securely in Apple’s Keychain on your device. Keep your device secure and your keys will stay secure.

Most cloud services will store your API keys on their servers but we’ve designed our app different with security in mind.

Want even more safety?

If you want to be even more cautious you can generate view only API keys with some networks. This is a great extra step and we encourage you to take this step to make your accounts even more secure. Our app only needs view only access. So if the network allows you to create a view only key or a sub user with less access that has its own API Key you could create a sub user specifically for the Affiliate Stats API Key.
