Below are some payment models for different on offers on affiliate networks.
CPA – Cost Per Action/Conversion. Advertisers are billed for each conversion and affiliates are paid for each conversion. A conversion might be an insurance lead, a newsletter sign up, loan request, trial request or website registration.
CPC – Cost Per Click. Advertiser pays for each click delivered to their website. The affiliate is paid for each click they send to the advertiser website.
CPS – Cost Per Sale. Advertiser pays for each sale delivered to their website. Affiliate earns commission for every sale they manage to send to the offer.
CPM – Cost Per Thousand Impressions. This means the advertiser is billed per thousand impressions and the affiliate is paid per thousand impressions.
